What we do

DORAN LAW offers a range of estate and trust legal services including trusts and estate planning, trust and estate administration, incapacity and special needs planning, and business succession planning. We also advise individuals, families and business owners on matters pertaining to fiduciary accounting, corporate reorganizations, will challenges, charitable giving, dependants' relief and guardianship applications.

From simple wills to complex trusts and corporate reorganizations, we can help to provide peace of mind in knowing that your property or business legacy is protected and your family properly cared for. Through careful analysis of your situation, we will devise effective strategies to ensure that your assets and legacy will be preserved and passed on to future generations with minimum cost and tax liability.

DORAN LAW also provides effective advocacy and legal support for clients and older individuals who may have experienced financial exploitation, abuse, or discrimination in areas such as housing, employment, and access to services. We counsel individuals and organizations with respect to elder law issues such as age or disability discrimination, financial exploitation, and substitute decision making. We strive to empower clients to make fully-informed decisions and to preserve their financial security, personal autonomy and overall quality of life.
